People ask me what I do, and I always hesitate… My background is in art that I studied in Moscow, Russia. I studied Fashion Design in Los Angeles, California. I’ve been weaving tapestries, making pottery and jewelry. Sometimes I write poetry, create gardens or dance Argentine Tango.

Early in life, my desire to see the world, pushed me out of my comfort zone to go travel. Being a teenager in Russia, about 18 years of age, I would pack an overnight bag, go to the railway station in Moscow to catch a red-eye train often to far-away places that sometimes took three days of traveling cross-country.

The same desire to see the world and have freedom brought me to the United States. I came by myself in my twenties. Thirty-something years later I look back in amazement at my courage then… My ever-present curiosity about people drove me to study psychology. I have been working therapeutically for twenty years. Because of my history and my unconventional approach, I tend to attract clients of a creative nature and mind. I see unlocking creativity in people as being at the very heart of my work with clients from different walks of life.
